What we Provide

Here at NSK, we happily provide extra support in whichever way our members require. Through clubs, social interaction & play, we promote independence, instil social skills, and have fun! We strongly believe in meeting everybody where they’re at. We implement verbal redirection and encouragement, as well as physical redirection when needed. Our implementations will reflect the members needs and goals. Within this program, the kids will be placed into a 1:2 ratio to best support them while still allowing room to grow and experiment! This addition can be made to any of our programs.

 

About Rick

This addition is overlooked and run by our very own Child & Youth Care practitioner, Rick! They have 7 years experience in many environments working with kids, teens, & adults with ASD, Down Syndrome, and much more. They are CPI Certified, patient, and creative within their implementations. For as long as Rick can remember, they’ve always felt such pride in helping others reach their goals, loved providing additional support and has promoted inclusion for people with all types of needs and abilities!

How it Works

  • Intake Form

    Through the link provided below, caregivers will complete the form and answer the questions as accurately as possible.

  • Phone call or Meeting

    Once the form is complete and submitted, Rick will reach out via email to set up a video or phone call meeting.

  • Next Steps

    If all parties agree that NSK is a good fit, Additional Support members can choose to set up a time to come meet Rick and get comfortable with the space before the start date of the program.

Pricing for Summer Camp

The cost of the Additional Support Program will be the sum of the base camp rate + an additional $42/day. The $42 will cover a portion of the cost of the staff responsible for the 1:2 ratio. HST will not be charged for this program.

Additional Support Summer Schedule

Pricing for After School Club

The cost of the Additional Support Program will be the sum of the regular program rate + an additional $20/day. The $20 will cover 1/3 of the cost of the staff responsible for the 1:3 ratio. HST will not be charged for this program.

Prices for After School Club + Support:

5 days/week | $1,020/monthly

4 days/week | $860/monthly

3 days/week | $705/monthly
